Hi there! Thanks for stopping by our little corner of the internet.

We’re J.C. and Katie, a couple of tea nerds based in Southwest Michigan. If you’ve visited farmers markets or artisan shows around the area, you may have stepped up to our Traveling Tea Table since we relaunched in 2022—and we hope you’ll keep coming back to talk tea with us.

Our story started in the late '90s, chatting online and swapping our favorite teas across digital “tea dates.” Over the years, we’ve visited tea shops across the U.S., Europe, and South Africa, building memories and a deep appreciation for the art of tea.

Along the way, we realized we wanted to build something together—something that combined our love for tea, storytelling, and community.

That spark turned into action in 2014, when a serendipitous meeting with a tea master at a farmers market in Indianapolis inspired us to dive in. J.C. began an apprenticeship, and in 2015, our first tea business—ADHTeas—was born. We spent the next few years steeping joy into markets across Indiana and, later, Denver.

In late 2020, we put down roots in Michigan, and by 2022, we reemerged as JC+KTeas: same passion, new name.

​

We believe tea is personal. Whether you’re here for ritual, relaxation, or a good ol’ fandom-themed flavor, we’re honored to be part of your journey.
